hi folks,
suggesting a look to INKOGNITO
//www.anonymityanywhere.com/incognito
it is more than complete, based on gentoo,
boots like knoppix,
why not doing ONE really good and tight solution
bundling all efforts on one thing?

"meeting in the middle", sounds reasonable to me.
best wishes

We are listening, I have an old AMD 433 Mhz, that doesn't seem to quite jive with installing xubuntu though. But like many others such is the case.

But live is fine. All I need is wpa2 psk\tkip with atheros and or ndiswrapper driver support. Firefox?

If you could make a pclinux minime that can accommodate older systems that would be nice. There also is a pclinux tinyfluxboxos that they would be happy to work with people making their own systems, I understand.

Anyway good luck whatever direction Phantomix takes, will check back from time to time.

I am not sure what it has at the moment but BcWipe, KGPG

As far a language goes, do lang=us to boot options the ( key I believe is the = for a US keyboard.

What I would really like to see is a PcLinux MiniMe based live, install cd. Or BSD, like ANONOS

Some more suggestions for this great distro:

Include BCWipe (Secure data wipe):

http://freshmeat.net/projects/bcwipe/

Include Wireshark (Packet sniffer):

http://www.wireshark.org

Include Scramdisk for Linux (If Truecrypt is not possible):

http://sourceforge.net/projects/sd4l/

Include driftnet (Packet sniffer, command line based):

http://ex-parrot.com/~chris/driftnet/
